Emboidery Project: For Fun

I have chosen to concentrate on the category ‘For Fun’ in order to create a series of samples inspired by juggling balls and pin-wheels. The general aesthetic will be a busy and bold display of pattern, colour and 3D motifs.

I have incorporated movement into the project by use of servos and LDRs over vac-formed objects, to evoke the sense of play and eccentricity [below].

  1. Bob Relyea is correct that it is a good idea to have multiple and continuous copying, but who is responsible for the labour, management, testing, hardware, software, etc. to do this across the full range of online resources including many that seem at the time to be of little long term relevance? Who will continue with this responsibility not just for a few years, or a few decades, but for hundreds of years? cap digitizing
